Here is a shot I took from the Skopolos ferry as we came in to moor at the old pier in the beautiful Greek island of Skiathos. It’s a very picturesque island and I’ll post more images from that trip soon.
As a Photographer, cameras are the tools of my trade and I've used a lot of different ones over the years. One thing's for sure though, old vintage cameras have an aesthetic quality that the modern digital camera just can’t match. Here is a collection of various cameras, all from the last century - the cameras that is, not the images which ironically I took on an iPhone ......

After a night out recently at the Marble Arch in Manchester I spotted the CIS office block in total darkness except a small line of windows on a single floor. Unfortunately I din’t have a camera with me but I did have my iPhone so I used that to capture this shot which I think has a really nice feel....

Last year we visited the Languedoc region of France and stayed in the beautiful medieval town of Caunes Minervois. Wandering around the maze of cobbled streets I was struck by the array of fabulous doors and door furniture on virtually every house. I just had to photograph them….
The Portuguese Algarve is a lovely place. I've been there many times but it was only during my last trip that I visited the town of Loulé, famous for its Saturday morning Gipsy market and the fresh food produce in the Arabian style market hall on Praça da República. The landmark church of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, a modern dome shaped building, can easily be seen on a hill, just to the west of the town. As you wander round the old town you will be entertained by the many street musicians to be found there. Here are just a few images I took during my visit….

I was contacted recently by a designer who was creating a website for the punk band The Amazing Space Frogs who have been performing for over 35 years. He wanted to know if I still had some pictures I had taken of the band between 1977 and 1982. These included the cover of their first single ‘Dirty Habits’ now a valuable collectors item, as well as some shots for an article in Smash Hits magazine of them along with a few other North East Punk bands including The Vultures, Deja Vu and Discharge. Obviously I was only 5 or 6 when I shot them!!! ;0) .......... Anyway after digging out the old negs - yes I admit it, I am a hoarder!!! - and scanning them for the website I thought I’d post some of them here.

I have recently been involved in the production of some exciting work for Mitsubishi UniBall pens. These have combined some of my video and photo-animations with some graphic animations which were done by Luke from Origami Penguin. Here are just a few of them, see what you think:
